We also created turkey glyphs by answering questions about our Thanksgiving traditions. The feathers are foods that they eat at Thanksgiving.

OUR FIELD TRIP TO SEE TARZAN AND TO TOUR FIRE STATION 37.

OFFICIAL PICTURES OF OUR TOUR

On Friday, April 29 we went to the Christian Youth Theater performance of TARZAN at Isley Elementary in Wichita, Kansas.  It was a very good play and we all had a great time watching it! We even got to practice being an ape and doing a Tarzan yell at intermission!  We then ate our lunch in their Science Lab as it was pouring outside and we couldn't go to a park!  We then went to the Wichita Fire Station 37 where Nathan Helten, Adeline's Dad is a firefighter.  The firefighters on duty that day gave us a very good tour of their trucks, where they sleep and eat, and how the students should not hide from firefighters if they are ever in a fire. An official photographer from Sedgwick County was there and took the pictures on the top.  You can find them on the Sedgwick County Government page on Facebook.
