Crazy Sock Day!

We wore crazy socks today as part of our week celebrating Dr. Seuss!

Annual Dr. Seuss Reader's Theater

In celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday the Marshall staff performed a readers theater of the Seuss book What Pet Should I Get. All 3 first grade teachers performed as per our usual tradition. Mr. Corns decided to join in the fun this year as well as Tammi Burtin from our district office. The students had a great time and cheered us on. Students also brought their stuffed animals and wore hats today as well

Valentine's Party

I did not get pictures taken for the Valentine's Day party but I did want to thank Mrs. Walden, Mrs. Cornett, and Mrs. White for the yummy Valentine treats that they provided for our class.  We had a great time enjoying the treats and opening our Valentine's.  Thank you!!

100 DAYS OF SCHOOL

Tuesday, January 26 was our 100th day of school!  We made a necklace of 100 Froot Loops, we wrote 100 words, counted to 100 by ones, tens, and fives, and looked at all our collections of 100 items.  We even found 100 candy kisses.  Each kiss a number on it from 1-100.  Once they were found we put them in numerical order.  It was a great day of celebrating 100!!
